With the new B.C. Employment Model in the planning stages, Hope Bridge Services is exploring how we might best serve our immediate community as well as support the larger Provincial community.

Our team has specialized in providing employment services to individuals negatively impacted by substance use for over fifteen years.  Until the new BC Employment Model, The Hope Program has been funded by the Government since 1994.  We have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share and proven methods of optimizing the success of our clients.

We anticipate having staff available to serve Employment Centres in:  Greater Vancouver, Fraser Valley and Vancouver Island.  Working remotely with other communities would be of interest as well.

We are interested in forging partnerships and willing to provide the following client services based on a Fee-For-Service model.

  1. Specialized Case Management:  Would provide staff with skills and knowledge to assess employment readiness for individuals negatively impacted by substance, make referrals to both employment and non-employment services (addictions), develop recovery compatible RTWAP.
  2. Life Skills Workshop
  3. Alcohol and Drug Education Workshops
  4. Recovery sensitive Job Coaching
  5. Recovery sensitive Vocational Assessment and Career Planning
  6. Recovery sensitive Job Search

Hope Bridge Services has also provided professional development to the Employment Service Provider Community for over 10 years and is developing services to aid all Employment Centres in provide optimum support to substance impacted clients.

  1. Substance Abuse Counselling for Employment Practitioner.  This course is currently in development and we will be sending out a needs assessment survey in the near future.
  2. Consulting and Coaching:  An hourly Fee-for-Service rate to provide consultations and coaching to Employment Centre staff on a case-to-case basis.
